It is a starting point to help you find suitable care. Your doctor is always the right person to confirm what you need.

3. Ratings reflect experience, not clinical endorsement

Star ratings and reviews reflect individual patients' experiences of care, such as communication, clarity, waiting and kindness. They are personal opinions, not a verified measure of clinical quality, and not an endorsement by us of any doctor or provider. A high rating does not guarantee a particular outcome, and a low rating is not a finding of fault.

4. Accuracy of listings

Some information is compiled from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date. We provide it on a best-effort basis and do not warrant its accuracy. Please confirm important details, such as a doctor's availability, qualifications, fees and hours, directly with the provider before acting on them.

5. Pharmacies, laboratories and other listings

Beyond doctors, Docranka lists healthcare services such as pharmacies, dispensaries, laboratories, dental and Ayurveda providers. These listings are a directory to help you find services; they are not a substitute for professional advice. Docranka does not sell medicines, dispense prescriptions, or perform tests. Medicines and pharmacies in Sri Lanka are regulated by the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA), and private institutions and laboratories by the Private Health Services Regulatory Council (PHSRC). Always follow your doctor's prescription and a qualified pharmacist's guidance.

6. We are an independent platform

Docranka is independent. We are not a government service and are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Sri Lanka Medical Council, the Ministry of Health, the PHSRC, the NMRA, or any hospital, unless we state so explicitly. A profile or listing appearing here is not an endorsement, and a provider's registration status is a matter for the relevant authority.

7. Consult a qualified professional
